Knowledge Enhancement / App Development
Python Full-Stack Development
Build complete web applications end to end with Python, FastAPI, React and PostgreSQL — then test, containerize and deploy them to Azure with AI help from GitHub Copilot.
Program Overview
This course provides practical training in full-stack development using Python, FastAPI, React and modern web technologies. Participants learn frontend development, backend API development, database integration, authentication, testing and deployment.
The program also covers Git, Docker, Azure and AI-assisted development with GitHub Copilot, enabling learners to build, test and deploy complete full-stack applications through a hands-on capstone project.
Learning Objectives
- Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React
- Build backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Integrate PostgreSQL and MySQL databases and perform CRUD operations
- Implement authentication, authorization and secure API access using JWT
- Apply testing, debugging and performance optimization techniques
- Use Git, GitHub and GitHub Copilot for collaborative and AI-assisted development
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them using Azure and CI/CD practices
- Develop and deploy a complete full-stack application through a hands-on capstone project
Audience Profile
Students, freshers and developers who want to become full-stack developers with Python, FastAPI and React. No prior Python experience is required — the course starts with Python foundations — though basic computer skills and some exposure to programming or the web are helpful.
